Our small start-up is seeking a stellar part-time, fully remote Operations Manager for 15-25 hours / week, with the opportunity to increase.
The Operations Manager is an integral part of INSIGHT’s growth strategy, bringing programs to fruition on the production and planning side, and will directly support the COO’s, Karey, ability to devote her time and attention to creating high-quality programs and partnerships in partnership with Founder, Kevin Courtney. You’ll be paramount in helping organize and manage deliverables as the organization grows, and serve as a catalyst for progress.
The Operations Manager is an experienced professional who leads with “yes” and values integrity, presence, attention to detail, thoughtful communication, and has a vested interest in their own growth and well-being. They are an empathetic leader who is personally motivated to serve our mission, grow with the INSIGHT team, and leverage humor and fun along the way.
THE ROLE
You are a stellar, solutions-focused operator who excels at building trusted relationships, and effectively balances the need for process with flexibility—you equally succeed at executing on existing processes and creating new systems to ensure everything is completed in a timely manner, with excellence.
Project Management
Develop and manage project plans that bring our digital (and other) products to life—you think of all the details, understand reasonable durations and dependencies, and motivate the team to deliver
Balance personal ownership and accountability of immediate responsibilities with the flexibility and drive to jump in and fill gaps across the team as they arise
Work you’ll be excited to step into: leading the launch of monetized digital INSIGHT practices on ThisIsInsight.com, supporting B2B engagements as we embark on INSIGHT for Organizations, creating order of our sea of Google Docs on Notion
Technical Acumen
You find joy in learning new tools, systems and make swift work of discovering how to instrument and implement solutions
You are passionate about user-centered design and digital product development
Execute website updates (Squarespace) and creatively solution ways to realize our goals online
You value data-supported decisions and are comfortable aggregating and reporting on key metrics across both digital and analog landscapes
Work you’ll be excited to step into: implementing digital practice offerings + their monetization (via Squarespace Member Areas), instrumenting our evolved digital newsletters, tracking digital practice purchasing + usage and sharing recommendations, up-level our 1-1 mentorship practitioner CRM as we welcome additional Facilitators

RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum 2 years professional experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or Operations role in a corporate environment
Acute attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and exceptional quality in all deliverables—you seek to understand and gain acute clarity in expectations to ensure deliverables meet expectation
You strive for efficiency, identify and eliminate blockers, and when faced with challenges or uncertainty, seek help with proposed solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills—a demonstrated ability to utilize embodied language and, with awareness of who you’re talking to, mirror and understand ensuring the receiver is seen and heard
You model a philosophy of curiosity- and trust-based conflict resolution
You tell the truth and know when to employ discretion
You seek out, welcome, and integrate feedback and have a desire to learn, grow, and be mentored
You have done personal growth work, and know-how to take responsibility for yourself
Long-term intentions to stay with our company and grow together
(Largely) Available on Slack + email between 11 am to 4 pm EST daily and able to respond to all communications same-day
Hands-on experience with our in-use tooling: gSuite, Asana, Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, Canva, Instagram, Facebook, Active Campaign, Squarespace—as well as the interest to learn new systems, software
Experience with CRM platforms a plus
You have equal strength in your ability to work independently and to connect and collaborate with team members and partners while working remotely.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
Flexible schedule, access to our growing library of digital meditation and contemplation practices, and the ability to directly design and create your expansion within the INSIGHT organization.
Compensation: $50 - $75 / hour, depending on experience.
This role operates in a contract capacity, with hours flexing between 15 and 25 hours / week. The Operations Manager will be directly working on revenue generating projects that will fuel the potential for additional hours and compensation.
