Full Moon Reflection
INSIGHT on Persistence
Tonight’s full moon brings us into the Lion’s Gate; an opening, a portal, a reminder that the energy of perseverance is never lost. In this moment, I find myself reflecting on the value of simply staying with it.
A year or two into this Eightfold Path experiment, I remember looking around and thinking: “Oh shit, people keep showing up. I guess we really are going to do all eight of these.”
I recall the many moments of doubt; there were years when it would have been easier to walk away. There were seasons when relationships changed, or when the mirror of leadership revealed things I wished I hadn’t seen in myself.
Growth is not always graceful.
And here’s what I’ve learned, and what this Eightfold Path experience has taught me: sometimes the greatest act of courage is simply to remain.
Not to abandon ourselves when it gets hard, not to turn away from a commitment because it asks more of us than we think we have to give. There is a quiet alchemy in persistence.
Over time, what was once effort becomes devotion, and what was once discipline becomes love.

So as the full moon shines on this 8.8 portal, I invite you to reflect:
Where in your life are you being called to stay with it?
What parts of yourself, or your journey, are asking for patience, for presence, for one more breath, even in the face of uncertainty?
And how might your life change if you refused to abandon yourself?
May this full moon bring you the courage to remain with your path, your people, and above all, with your own heart.
