An Inner Trilogy | Embodied Elements

Embodied Elements Pt. 1 is the first of a two-part series containing three practices each. Each practice builds sequentially and is meant to be practiced in the order presented.

The sessions offer movement in the form of Qi Gong and Tantric Hatha Yoga, meditation, INSIGHT contemplations, and writing prompts designed to invoke your intuitive, innate intelligence to shine through.

Rarely taught, this series centers on an ancient technology drawn from the Sankya Yoga Tradition used to explore the sensory and sometimes psychedelic experience of the Five Element Theory as an embodiment.

The techniques leverage awareness, the mind, and breath to activate specific patterns of bodily sensations that, when given attention, create state changes and open a portal into the more subtle dimensions of consciousness.

Part One: Water | Earth | Fire

This practice, led by Kevin Courtney, takes you on a journey of profound discovery:

Working with the water element, we address rigidity in the body and the mind. Where is it that you are holding? What is it time to let go of? The practice restores fluidity. The cues associated with the earth element are designed to invoke a state of clarity and single-pointed focus in the mind—awareness grounds in the pelvis, the home of the subtle elemental forces of earth.

From earth, the fire element gives rise to energetic expansion and acquaints us with how awareness responds to dynamism, heat, discomfort, passion, and inspiration. The INSIGHT contemplations invite you to usher yourself into the radiant intelligence of the heart and deepen your listening.

Once you’ve experienced the entire arc of the journey, go back time and again to any one practice to draw from its unique benefits.

These classes were filmed live and edited to maintain the integrity and enduring nature of the teachings.
